Just a quick update to comment on my finding of the Holy Grail of automated deployment.
Go click that link and think about it for a while. Just cogitate on the awesomeness of a constantly churning, expertly sharded deployment system. Selenium to test IE. 36 machines. 1000s of tests. These guys accomplished the sort of thing that I dreamt of occasionally, dismissing as way too complex to be workable, and they haven’t even noticed that they did anything cool.
Despite being a service I have no interest in whatsoever, the guts behind IMVU are impressive!
